IMHOSTED CRASHED AGAIN LOTS OF CUSTOMER SITES - THIS TIME THEY DISABLED INNODB SUPPORT IN THE DATABASE SERVER

> andi: Please fix InnoDB
> : Please wait for a site operator to respond.
> : You are now chatting with 'Customer Service'.
> Customer Service: Hello
> andi: You still haven't fixed the InnoDB issue
> andi: we are waiting already since 2 days
> Customer Service: We can understand your concern.
> andi: We can't understand that imhosted is CRAP
> Customer Service: Our techs are still trying to sort out the issue
> andi: REINSTALL MySQL and the problem is solbved
> andi: Change your Techs
> Customer Service: the other innodb tables created on the server are working fine now.
> andi: We have meanwhile about 13 no 14 of your customers with same problem
> andi: InnoDB isn't working
> andi: not only on our Account
> andi: it is a general Problem we pointed you days ago
> andi: We receive absolute NO support
> andi: We get Lies from your technichians which try to make us believe we have done anything wrong on the sites. Problem like always is that our sites were working perfect until IMHOSTED updated again their servers,
> andi: We have i.e. on our server a special setting James has implemented so when you change things always again and again you are facing the same problems
> andi: You have our eMail This post and chat will be posted again on apapcoco.blogspot.com for other people so that they will know how the IMHOSTED Support Team is working and if it will be worth paying for an IMHOSTED account which is not working. Also we try to find more of your customers with similar Problems.
> andi: FACT IMHOSTED does not know how to handle a Database Server - especially InnoDB
> andi: any comments?
> Customer Service: I can understand your concern. and sincere apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
> Customer Service: We have checked your concern about reinstalling the mysql. but we can see that everything runs fine
> Customer Service: you can see the logs as below ;
> Customer Service: | MyISAM | DEFAULT | Default engine as of MySQL 3.23 with great performance | | MEMORY | YES | Hash based, stored in memory, useful for temporary tables | | InnoDB | YES | Supports transactions, row-level locking, and foreign keys |

> andi: Fact is it is NOT working the tables are missing even they are there - they only don't get displayed.
> andi: Last night we had a situation where your support wrote that they have found all 82 Tables and That THEY can see all Tables - Fact is that we CANT work on the tables they see, as those tables show "IN USE". This problem affects ALL Tables on this database Server and all customers should be informed that they will loose their sites and data if this problem continues with such a bad unreliable IMHOSTED Support.
> andi: Could you please let me know how we can post ion the Imhosted facbook Fan Page. Thanks!
> andi: I hope you know that you should run MySQL Server 5.0.+ as all our sites were using it since years already!
> andi: Perhaps this is the main problem
> andi: you are selling MySQl 3 instead of MySQL 5 which is state of the art to the customers
